Everything was really good, met what was needed, and the staff were highly courteous people who go the extra mile beyond ' service '. We truly enjoyed rooms with a lovely veiw towards the hillside.

We stayed in a Superior Beautiful Double or Twin Room, and wow, it was gorgeous! The decor was beautiful, matching the historic charm of the hotel. Super clean and tidy, and the bed was super comfy. I loved the deep luxurious bath too. Nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Couldn't ask for more!

Consider requesting a room with better insulation to avoid noise from the bar area if you are a light sleeper.

Cozy, Cozy, Cozy
As soon as I stepped into the lobby, the crackling fire instantly warmed my heart. My double room had fine views of the rolling Yorkshire Dales, perfect for sipping morning coffee while soaking in the scenery. Plus, the breakfast menu was a culinary delight, offering local produce, made waking up early totally worth it!

The turret suite felt luxurious with a fantastic bath and a huge comfy bed. The atmosphere was ideal for our silver wedding anniversary. Breakfast was excellent. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Staff were pleasant and friendly. The check-in experience could use improvement. We dealt with a rude receptionist at first, which put a damper on our arrival. Noise from the wedding party disrupted our evening, reducing the comfort level in our suite. Despite these issues, the beautiful decor and helpful staff were good.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our three nights in the Double Room, appreciating the warmth of the cozy atmosphere. The hotel could enhance cleanliness, especially under the pet-friendly policy. Dining options were good. Their breakfast stood out with fresh ingredients. Consider adding more cleaning before new guests arrive.

Perfect for a getaway
The staff were just very nice, almost like they could read my mind. I mean, always ready with a drink or a kind word. The atmosphere was cozy, you walk in and there's this massive fireplace that instantly makes you feel at home.
It wasn't exactly pocket change, but still decent for what you get.
